- Marion A. Baker, 92 years, of Niagara Falls, NY, June 16, 2021 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Wife of the late Robert M. Baker, she was the daughter of Louis and Mildred Vawter.
Mrs. Baker worked at Francis Optical Co. from 1949 until 1967 when she married Robert M. Baker, then owner of Baker Optical Company. Mrs. Baker volunteered at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical center for over 60 years until Covid 19 became a threat.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her step-daughter, Barbara Nadig of Flower Mound, TX; three step-granddaughters, Blythe (Joseph) Valenzuela of Round Rock, TX, Brittany (Alan) Horn of Nashville, TN, Brianna (Fernando) San Miguel of Flower Mound, TX; six great-grandchildren; several loving cousins and nephews.
In accordance with Marion's wishes her body was donated to UB School of Medicine. The family is planning a future memorial celebration and will let friends and relatives know of the date.
