  Obituary from Tonawanda News GOERSS June (nee Miller) Goerss, 60, of the Town of Tonawanda, Wednesday (April 27, 1983) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Beloved wife of Kenneth Goerss; mother of Mrs. Emmett (Marla June) Ballard of No. Tona. and the late Thomas Goerss; daughter of Mrs. Lynes Miller of No. Tona.; daughter-in-law of Mrs. Wilmer Goerss of No. Tona.; grandmother of Erin Ann Ballard; aunt of several nieces and nephews. Friends received Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., No. Tona. Services at the Zion United Church of Christ, Parker and Koenig Circle, Town of Tona. Saturday April 30, 1983 at 10 a.m., the Rev. Saul Katz will officiate. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. At the request of the family, flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, Memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ.
