CLIFFORD - Gertrude C.
(nee Balling) Clifford of
Tonawanda unexpectedly
Friday (November 20,
1981) at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital. A native of Tonawanda,
she was the sister
of the late Sophia Carney,
Florence Korkow, Henry,
Fred. Leo. Leonard,
Norman and Walter Balling.
Mrs. Clifford had been
employed at Remington
Rand. No.Tonawanda for
25 years until 1958 and was
a member of St. Francis of
Assisi Church and the
Altar Society.
She is survived by her
husband, Archiband Clif-
ford' a sister, Mrs.
Frances Brown of
Englewood, Fla.; two
brothers, Joseph Balling of
Williamsville and Jacob
(Ann) Balling of North
Tonawanda and many
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at
John 0. Roth Funeral
Home. Morgan and
William Sts., Tonawanda.
A Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at St.
Francis of Assisi Church at
10 a.m.. Tuesday, the Rt.
Rev. Msgr. Ralph M. Miller
will officiate. Burial will
be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
