Goetz, to Jack Richard Carney, son of Mrs. Spencer Carney
of North Tonawanda, and the late Mr. Carney. The future
bride is a member of the Park School of Buffalo faculty.
Her fiance is an alumnus of the University of Buffalo and
is associated with the Marine Trust Co. of Buffalo. A summer
wedding is planned.

Notes - Sarah "Sally" (nee Bellinger) Carney, age 79, of Tonawanda, Anthem, Arizona, and formerly of Irving, Texas, died Monday, February 22, 2016 at Scottsdale Thompson Peak in Arizona, after a brief illness. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Buford and Marjorie (nee Getz) Bellinger.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jack R. Carney, who died August 13, 2015; mother of Sarah (Keith) Carney-Sutton of Anthem, Arizona; and grandmother of Courtney and Alex Sutton. Also surivivng are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Monday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. Friends invited. Interment in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to the Historical Society of the Tonawandas, 126 Broad Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, are preferred by the family.
