- Frank Joseph Zajaczkowski, Jr., lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home. He was 67 years old. He was born on December 31, 1950, to the late Frank and Lorraine (Patterson) Zajaczkowski. Frank attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School. After graduating, Frank served in the United States Marine Corps, then worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport until his retirement.
Frank was a devout Christian who enjoyed spending time in prayer and supporting ministries. Frank never wavered in his faith through his life. He loved reading, watching western movies, and enjoyed all sports (Go Yankees!, Roll Tide!). Frank was a kind and gentle man. He had the kindest smile and would leave you with encouraging words and wisdom before parting ways. Frank’s bright blue eyes that reflected an amazingly kind and generous soul will be with us forever.
Frank’s family was the pride and joy of his life. He is survived by his daughter Christyn (fiancé Javan Thomas) Griffin and his granddaughter Savannah Griffin of Rome, GA. Frank is also survived by 5 siblings: Theresa (Peter) Yarsites of Cape Cod, MA; Shirley A. (Patrick) Toohey of Cambria, NY; Roger (Cathy) Zach of Las Vegas, NV; Darlene (Nicholas) Verbeek of Dundas, ON; Michelle McClellan of Middleborough, MA; his brother-in-law Gary (late Beverly) Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his sister, Beverly (Gary) Lewis. Frank’s family has special, wonderful memories of him that will be carried on in their hearts forever. The legacy of Frank’s kind spirit, passion for sports, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them.
There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private.
