LYNDONVILLE - Mrs. Gaylord
(Jean) Bane, 49, died unexpectedly
early this morning
(Feb. 13, 1964) at her home, 32
Garland St.
She was born March 9, 1914
in Kenyonville, daughter of Mrs.
Helen Porter Merrill and the
late Wirt Merrill.
In 1935 she married Gaylord
Bane who survives her. The couple
had lived on Garland
Street for the past 29 years.
Mrs. Bane attended Lyndonville
Presbyterian Church and was a
member of the Standby Class.
Surviving besides her husband
and mother, Mrs. Merrill of Waterport,
are two daughters, Mrs.
Thomas Manning of Kenyonville
and Mrs. William Rogers of Akron;
one son, P f c . Wirt Bane
stationed at Fort Lee, Va.; two
granddaughters, one sister,
Mrs. Warren Bulnan of Fairport;
two nieces and several
cousins.
A funeral service will be held
at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the
Smythe Funeral Home, Lyndonville.
The Rev. Richard Billingsley,
pastor of t h e local Pres
byterian Church, will officiate
Burial will be in Kenyonville
Cemetery.
