A farmer for many years in
the Town of Yates, Russell G.
Goldsmith. 77, of North Lyndonvilla
Road, Lyndonville, died
Tuesday (Nov. 33, 1885) to Me
dina Mernorial Hospital where
he had been a patient tor the
past week.
Born to Norwich. England, on
Jan. 28, 1888, he was the son of
George and Harriet Carver
Goldsmith. He came to the
United States in 1910 and settled
to the Town of Yates. He owned
ed and operated his farm for
several years and later was employed
by the Highway Department
of the Town of Yates. He
retired about six years ago.
He was married to the former
Nellie Grimes of Albion to
March 1923.
Surviving besides his widow,
are one son, Fred; one daugh-
ter, Mrs. Irving Bane and one
brother, Maurice Goldsmsith, all
of Lyndonville; seven grandchil-
dren and several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will beheld
Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the
Smythe Funeral Home, Lyndon-
ville, conducted by the Rev.
Howard Warriner, pastor of the
Methodist Church. Burial will
be in Lynhaven Cemetery.
