  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 2/8/1968 LYNDONVILLE - Mrs. Martha Bane, 75, formerly of Ma-. ple Avenue, widow of Leonard Bane, died Wednesday morning (Feb. 7, 1998) at the Bishop Nursing Home in Medina she had been a patient for about three years. She was born April 15. 1992 in Brockport, a daughter of Benjamin J. and Carrie Greenman Ward. On Jan. 1, 1913, she was married to Mr. Bane who died in September 1962. Mrs. Bane was a member of Lyndonville Methodist Church and the Gleaners Code of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. She bad been a mem- ber of Yates Chapter 215. Order of Eastern,Star, and Lyndonia Rebekah Lodge 527. Surviving are four sons, George, Paul and Floyd Bane, all of here, Gordon Bane of dina; nine grandchildren: one sister, Mrs. Etta Engert of On- tario, N.Y., five nieces, one nephew and several cousins. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to.9 p.m at the Smythe Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St Lyndonville, where funeral ser- vices will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. How- ard Warriner. Burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery.
