- Louis Kowalski Jr., 86, of Queensbury, NY passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Warren Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 24, 1931 he was the son of the late Louis L. and Katherine(Pinkowski) Kowalski. He attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School. Louis served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a Cpl.
Louis was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and married his wife Dorothy J. Banks on May 1, 1954. They moved to Queensbury, NY several years ago to be closer to their son. Well here in Niagara Falls, Louis was a member of St. John DeLasalle Church, where he was a eucharistic minister and a member of their holy name society. He was an electrician at Goodyear Tire & Rubber for 30 years, until his retirement. Louis enjoyed going camping in his spare time.
Besides his wife of 63 years, Dorothy J. Kowalski, he is survived by his son, Louis P. (Karen M.) Kowalski of Glen Falls, NY; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Jerome Kowalski of Las Vegas; five nieces and two nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Edwin Kowalski.
There is NO PRIOR visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date in Niagara Falls, NY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
