  Niagara Gazette - 8/25/1966 CAMBRIA-Emmett E. Barber. 77, of 3920 North Ridge Road, died Wednesday (Aug. 24, 1966) at Mount View Hospital, Lockport, after a three-month illness. Mr. Barber, a retired supervisor with the Carborundum Co. of Niagara Falls, w»s born in Sanborn and worked for Carborundum 15 years, retiring nine years He lived in North Ridge for 54 years and was a member of Ransomville Lodge No, 551, F&AM, and the Niagara County Extension Service. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada Richardson Emmett; a d a u g h t e r , Mrs,, Frank Truax, Lockport; a brother. Alfred Barber. Sanborn a grandson, James Truax, Lockport; several nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hardison Funeral Home, Ransomville, with Rev. Franklin Blanchard of the North Ridge M e t h o d i st Church officiating. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Friends may cal at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
