  Utica NY Daily Press - 10/22/1917 Herkimer. Oct 22.-William H Barber passed away last night at his residence in East German street, following an i l l n e s s of several months. He was 52 years old and had resided in Herkimer for several years and had employment at the Remington works In llion. He was a member of the Down-and-Out Club and also of Gen. Nicholas Herkimer Council, O. E. A M , and had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances who sill regret his death He is survived by his widow and by two sons, William Barber of Utica and Leo Barber, who went away with Company M of Mohawk and is now at Camp Wadsworth, S. C.
