Leonard Franklyn Barber, 34, of
616 Thirtieth street, died in Me-
morial hospital this morning, a
victim of lukemnia. He had been
ill about a month.
Born in Niagara Falls, Mr. Barber
had resided here all his life and for
the last 11 years was employed in
the personnel department of the
Hooker Electrochemical company.
He la survived by his wife, Mrs.
Kathleen Barber; one daughter,
Naomi: his parents. Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Barber, of this city; four
sisters. Mrs. Florence Devins, of
Birmingham. Mich.; Mrs. Gladys
Dillman, of Woodhaven. L. I., and
Violet Barber , and Mrs. Myrtle
Biggins, of this city, and four
brothers, Roy Barber, of this city;
Corporal William Barber, in the
Marshall Islands; Sergeant Charles
Barber. In West Virginia, and Cor-
poral Richard Barber, in Italy.
Funeral services will be held at
the home at 2:30 pm. Saturday,
with the Rev. George Bontekoe
officiating. Interment wlil be made
in Oakwood cemetery
