  Dennis J. Brophy, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at his home in Lutz, FL. He was born on September 30, 1948, the son of Margaret Brophy and the late Thomas J. Brophy. On July 6, 1982, he married the former Linda Penale. Linda passed away on March 20, 2014. After serving in the U.S. Army, Dennis was employed by Nabisco in Niagara Falls, NY from the early 1970's to 1981. He later moved to Florida and started his own business, D & L Air Conditioning. In addition to his mother, he is survived by nieces, Kelli Ridley and Breanna Ridley; nephews, Zachery Ridley, Ryan Ballentine, and Adam Penale; his brother-in-law, Rick (Rene') Penale; his aunt, Carol Maas; and many other loving family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Brophy. Internment win be on March 31, 2014 at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL.
