TOWN OF CAMBRIA — Ruth M. Hall, of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012, in the Briody Health Care Facility, Lockport, NY. She was born in Tonawanda, NY, on October 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Pfanner) Everett.
Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Tonawanda High School. She was employed with the Starpoint Central School, for over 10 years, before retiring in 1977. Mrs. Hall was a very active member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Pekin. She loved crocheting and playing solitaire.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lester R. "Bob" Hall; one brother, William (Dorothy) Everett; two special nieces, Beth Wells of Niagara Falls, NY and Sharon Wells of Surprise, AZ; and her beloved cat, Molly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Warren (late Helen) Everett, Howard (late Lois) Everett and Norma (late Lester) Wells.
The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew D. Kofahl officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to the Hope United Methodist Church, 2914 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, NY 14132. Interment at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
