  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 12/23/1922 Mrs. Augusta Barkow, wife of Rev. John Barkow, the pastor of St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ridge, died at her home on Tuesday morning st six o'clock, following an Illness of nearly three months. She was born at Watertown, Wisconsin, fortyseven years ago, and was the mother of four children, all at whom are at home. Edward, Herbert, Frieda and Irna. The funeral was held from the. church on Friday at two o'clock, nearby brethren clergymen havig the service in charge. Burial was at the cemetery on the Ridge.
