Miss Anna Batt, 75, of 1527
Niagara Ave., died today (Nov.
13, 1959) at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.
She had resided with her
nephew Jack Barnum for the
last several years.
Miss Batt a well known dental
nurse in the area for many
years was a graduate of the
early nursing classes held at
Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.
Miss Batt was born in Lancaster
and moved to Tonawanda
in 1900.
She retired as a dental assistant
for Dr. George Nussbaum,
Tonawanda, in 1957.
She was also employed as
plant nurse for the former
Niagara Searchlight Co.
Survivors include her mother,
Mrs. William Batt and one
sister, Mrs. Bert Lewis, both
of Tonawanda, and her brother.

In addition to Mr. Barnum.
three nieces and four other
nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held
at 10:15 a.m. Monday at 1527
Niagara Ave. and at 10:45 a.m.
at Sacred Heart Church. Burial
will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.
