One of the most delightful of the several prs-nuptial
parties planned for Miss Josephine Barnwell, whose marriage to
Theodore LeVeque of Buffalo will take place on July 6, was
the bridge luncheon given on Saturday afternoon by Miss Alice
Dohring, at Mrs. Walter Wendt's tea room m Pekin.
Quests were seated at a table
decorated with bouquets of garden
flowers and lighted by harmonizing
tapers In crystal holders. Baskets
of trls In colorful shades lent to the
attractiveness of the room. Favors
for cards went to Miss Millicent
C. Burch and Miss Madeline Barnwell.
The guest of honor was presented
with a guest prize.

Recently, Mrs. Chris Tesnow of
Akron gave a bathroom shower for
Miss Barnwell at her home. The
evening was enjoyed with bridge,
favors going to Mrs. Alva Graham
and Miss Ethel Conley.
