WARSAW - Mrs. Miriam
Rice Kinney, of 51 Genesee
St., Warsaw, died Wed.,
(June 11,1969) in King Manor
Nursing Home here after a
long illness. She was 81.
She was born in Gloucester,
Mass., and had resided in
ingston of Tonawanda, and
two grandchildren.
The service was in the
Warsaw 45 years. She was the
widow of Price W. Kinney,
who died in 1964. She was
graduated from Vassar in the
Class of 1906 and was a member
of Phi BeUa Kappa. She
was a past president of the
Monday Club of Warsaw and
a member of the Delphians of
Warsaw. She was a member
of the United Church of Warsaw.
For many years she was
a Warsaw Library trustee and
was endorsed by both political
parties to serve on the board.
She served on the board until
1960.
She and her husband trav-
extensively through Europe
the Mediterranean and
the Far East.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs.
Gerald Laventure of Niagara
Falls; a son, Robert of Rochester;
a foster daughter Mrs.
Ralph Planck of Cloverdale,
Calif., seven grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; a
brother,. Dr. Kenneth R. Rice
of Warsaw and a niece, Mrs.
Richard Duscben of Warsaw.
