  Dorene M. (Deno) Gretencord, 89, of Earl Park, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus of West Lafayette. She was born July 17, 1932 in Goodland, IN to the late Elmer Leo Deno and Mabel (Mathew) Deno. Dorene was a graduate of Brook High School. Her marriage was to Glen Gretencord on December 29, 1951 in Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Goodland. He preceded her in death on July 23. 2012. Dorene was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Fowler. Dorene was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in Benton County. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, playing cards, reading, winter months in Florida, playing piano, and crocheting. Surviving are her children, Carol (Louis) Salla of Attica, Gary (Teresa) Gretencord of Earl Park, Cheryl (Keith) Borgman of Fowler, and Galen (Connie) Gretencord of Oxford. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents are two sisters, one brother, and a grandchild.
