  Niagara Gazette - 1/8/1970 Donald Dewey Barr. 71, of 2944 Seneca Ave., d ed in Memorial Medical C e n t er Wednosdav (Jan. 7. 1970) after a short illness. A native of Winburne, N.Y., he had lived in Niagara Falls the past 43 years. He was employed at the elec- trometallurgical Division of Union Carbide Corp. for 37 years until his retirement in 1961. He was a head fur- naceman. He was a member of the 25-Year Club at Union Carbide. He is'survived by four sons, Donald H., Kenneth L., John T. and Jerald J. Barr, al lof this city; two daughters, Mrs. Oayk (Marie) Nassoiy of Orlando, Kla., and Mrs. Alfred (Virginia) Beaver of Niagara Falls; 16 grandchilden and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.' Saturday at the Otto Redanz. Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger E. Purdy, pastor of Pierce Avenue United Pres byterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will. be .present 7 to 9 p.m. today, and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
