  Medina NY Daily Register - 6/24/1981 MIDDLEPORT - John Britt of 2782 Drum Road, 82, died unexpectedly today at his home. He was born Dec. 1,1898, the son of Frank and Brigette (Fuery) Britt, and had lived m Middleport all of his life. Mr. Britt retired from Harrison's in 1962 after 37 years of service. He also operated the Britt Slaughter House, at his home for the past 60 years. He was a member of St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Barker! He was husband of the late Rose Britt; father of Robert G. Britt of Middleport, Mrs. Rose Mary Woodworm of Lockport, Mrs. Paul (Jean) Targus of Middleport and the late James Britt, and was brother of Thomas Britt of Lockport. He Is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements, incomplete at this time, are being made through the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St.
