26, 1906, Mrs. Ringwald
was a d a u g h t e r of
Seymour and Etta Tuthlll;
Barringer. She spent her
younger life In Ava. She
graduated from Boonville.
High.School arid from
Boonville Teachers Train-
ing Class in 1925. In 1930,
she graduated from
Potsdam Normal-School
Thereafter, she taugh in
the rural schools in the
Town of Ava and in Rome.
For- several years, Mrs,
Ringwald taught the third*
grade at Adirondack
Central School. Boonville.
,She retired-In- 1968. Her.
marriage to Herbert C;
Ringwald took place in
Richlarid:-on June 20,
1933. A member of Ava
Hilltop Unlted Methodist
Church she was also a
member of the Ladies Aid
Society of the church. Mrs,
Ringwald was a member
of the Boonville Teachers
Training Class. Alumni.
Association, and the;
Retired Teachers Asso-
ciation. She -was also_a
member of Youhg-at-
Heart -Senior-Citizens of -.,
Boortville and Constable-
ville. Senior.Citizens. She;
was a former member of.-
West Branch Grange. and;
Women's Auxiliary, of the
West. Leyden Fire Com-
pany; of-which she-had
served as president.
Besides her, husband,.
suryivors. Inciude a son,
Edward C. Ringwald, Black
River: and . two
sisters, Thelma Gleasman
of Clinton and Mrs, Harry
(Eleanor) Hartson. West
Branch. A sister. Ethel
Splnelli. died In 1967, and
a brother Wallace Barring-
er. died on November 1, 1994..
Services were held on
Saturday. June 10, 1995.
at 1 p.m. at the Trainor-
FuneraI Home. Boonville.
where The.Reverend Paul
Credle, a former pastor of
Ava Hilltop United Meth-
odist Church, officiating.
Interment was made in
the Ava Cemetery. Calling
hours were on Thursday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and on
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m.

lance.
