  OBITUARY William A. Henwood of Niagara Falls, NY,   passed away on  Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Northgate Health Care Facility, North Tonawanda, NY.   He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 19, 1935, the son of the late James and Olga [Ziehm] Henwood. Mr. Henwood graduated from LaSalle Senior High School and served with the Air National Guard. He was employed with the Niagara Junction Railroad, The New York State Power Authority and later became the Rehabilitation Specialist with the City of Niagara Falls for over 30 years before retiring in 2015.   Mr. Henwood also owned and operated the Henwood Motel in Niagara Falls, NY, for many years. He was an avid sportsman and a member of the LaSalle Sportsman's Club, the 3 F Club and enjoyed wintering in Florida. Mr. Henwood is survived by his wife of  65 years M. Jacqueline [Marshall] Henwood, his children Daniel (Brenda) Henwood and Debra Taylor, four grandchildren Farron and  Matthew (Jamie) Henwood, Laura Cruz and Rebecca Franks, a brother James (Sharon) Henwood, fourteen great grandchildren,  also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joan Butzbok.  Due to the COVID Pandemic,  private funeral services will be held at the wishes of his family. Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.
