He was born September 27, 1931 in Earl Park to the late George H. and Florence G. Warner Gretencord. Also preceding him in death were 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He married Dorene Deno on December 29, 1951 in Goodland. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carol (Louis) Salla of Attica and Cheryl (Keith) Borgman of Fowler; two sons, Gary (Teresa) Gretencord of Earl Park and Galen (fiancé: Connie Zeiler) Gretencord of Oxford; a sister, Dorothy Heinen of Fowler; a brother, Emmett Gretencord of Fowler; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
