Mr. Hanes was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and former employe of Buffalo Pumps, retiring in 1969. He is survived by his wife. Gertrude (nee Klein) Hanes; two sons. Marvin Hanes of California and Lynn B. Hanes of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother. Albert Hanes and three sisters. Mrs. Mabel Furio, Mrs. Lillian Schweichler and Mrs. Arnold (Alice) Beasock. all of North Tonawanda, several nieces and nephews
