- Obituary for Ann M. Putz
Ann M. Putz (Batka), 100, of North Tonawanda, Sunday, (April 2, 2023) in Elderwood of Grand Island. Ann was born on June 28, 1922 to Karl and Mary (Szczepaniak) Batka. Ann worked for Curtis Wright, Wurlitzer, volunteered at the VA and for the school cafeteria, Home health aid, Taylor Device, Remington Rand, and Hens and Kelly. Ann was predeceased by her husband of 55 years John J. Putz.
Ann is survived by her daughter Barbara A Kuehn (the late George A) , grandmother of Rebecca (Jason) Yots, and Deborah (Douglas) Mason, great grandmother of Jacob, George, Sarah and Julia, sister of John Batka, Margaret (Delbert) Bennett, Stanley (Margaret) and Helen Batka, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 626 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, Interment White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ann's name to Niagara Hospice. arrangements by Wattengel Funeral Home. Wattengel.com
