  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 4/5/1917 Mrs. Catherine Batt, 85 years old. widow of the late Xavier Batt, died Saturday at her late home at No. 60 Main street, North Tonawanda. Her death followed an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Batt was born in the town of Cheektowaga and came to the Tonawandas to reside in 1868. With her family she located on Main street in North Tonawanda and continued her residence there during the rest of her life. Mrs. Batt is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Netter, Mrs. Helen Rathgeber, Mrs. David Graff and Miss Rose Batt; five sons, William, Frank, Charles and Edward Batt, all of the Tonawandas, and Casper Batt of Cleveland. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at the chepel of Our Lady Help of Christians in Cheektowaga, founded by Mrs. Batt's father inlaw, Joseph Batt. Interment will be in the family lot adjoining the chapel
