morning (Dec. 17, 1955) in Buf-
falo General Hospital after a brief
illness. Born in Tonawanda, Mr.
Batt was a lifelong resident of
the city and had been employed for
the past 23 years at Spaulding Fibre
Co. Inc. He was a member
jof First Presbyterian Church of
Buffalo. He is survived by his
wife, Marie, nee Foehl; three sons,
Dean, Dennis and Jon; a daughter,
Mrs. Martin Livingston of
Grand Island: three grandsons;
!his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Batt, and a brother, Edward Batt
Jr., of Tonawanda. Friends may
call after noon Sunday at the Hamp
Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., Tonawanda,
where services will be at
2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Dr. Ralph
B. Hindman officiating. Burial
will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
