  Notes	North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 1/19/1906 Tuesday morning Jan. 16, Miss May Batt, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Batt of Falconer street, was united in marriage to Mr. Gus McRae, of First avenue, by the Rev. Father Kelley of the Ascension Church. The young couple left for a short wedding trip. Wednesday evening a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. About 60 guests sat down to a bountiful supper. The young couple were the recipients of many pretty presents.

  Niagara Gazette - 7/11/1947 NORTH TONAWANDA. July 11- Mrs. Mary E. McRae, 63, of 315 Schenck street, died last night at the DeGraff hospital. She was born at Williamsville and had lived here over 50 years. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Willam A. Thompson. and Mrs Norman K. Werth. of this city: three grandsons: three brothers. John J. Batt. of Lockport. Lee L. Batt. of Wheatfield. and Edwin F. Batt. of this city, and a sister. Mrs. James M Sheehan. of Manchester. Conn. Last rites will be held Monday at 9 a m from the.home and at 9:30 at Ascension church. Interment will be in mt. Olivet cemetery.
