Miss Mary M. McRae, whose
marriage to Norman K. Werth,
will take place Wednesday, September
26 is being feted at a numer
of delightful pre-nuptial affairs.
Tomorrow evening Mrs. G. C. McRae
will give a personal shower
in honor of her daughter at her
home on Schenck street.
On Wednesday evening Miss McRae
and her fiance were honor
guests at a dinner party given by
Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Phillips of
Goundry street. Covers were laid
for eight at a table arranged in
pink and white, with a centerpiece
of garden flowers flanked by pink
candles. Later dancing was the
entertainment feature.
On Thursday evening, Mrs. Lyle
Treichler of Bryant street gave a
shower and bridge party, the favors
going to Miss Rose Klimas,
Miss Irene Smolka. Messrs. George
Budd and Carl Soldwich. Refreshments
were served at small tables.

The marriage of Miss Mary M.
McRae. daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
G. C. McRae of Schenck street to
Norman K. Werth. son of Mr. and
Mrs, Ferdinand Werth of Washington
street was solemnized Wednesday
morning at 10 o'clock in
the Ascension church rectory, the
Rev. Daniel Molloy officiating. The
bride wore a gown of blue trans
parent velvet with hat to match
and a corsage of yellow tea roses.
Mrs. Lyle Treichler. sister of the
bride, was matron of honor, wearing
maroon velvet with hat to
match, and her bouquet was of
talisman roses. Wallace Werth
attended his brother as best man.
A wedding breakfast at the home
of the bride's parents, followed the
ceremony, covers being laid for
twelve at a table arranged in yel-
low and white, having as a cent-
erpiece a large wedding cake
flanked by tall ivory tapers, and
further adorned with bouquets of
yellow tea roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Werth are taking a
motor trip through the Adirondacks
and will be at home after October
3, in 315 Schenck street.
On Tuesday evening the bride
and groom were guests of honor
at a surprise party given by a large
number of their friends. Out of
town guests were present from
Bufflao, Niagara Falls and Berg-
holtz.
