NORTH TONAWANDA. Jan. 1 7 -
Mrs. Amelia May, 56 years old. died
yesterday at her home, 11 Christiana
slreel. after a long illness. In North
Tonawanda since early childhood.
Mrs. May is survived by a husband.
Bartholomew, two sons, Thomas F. and
James E.; mother, Mrs. Rose Batt;
seven sisters, the Misses Rose and Grace
Batt, Mrs. P. N. Murphy, Mrs. Hugho-
boom and Mrs. August Koch, all of
the Tonawandas, Sister M. James
Francs, Colorado Springs, and Mrs.
Richard Bush, Buffalo, and four bro-
thers, Frank, James and Eugene Batt,
all of the Tonawandas, and Walter
Batt, Tully.
The funeral will be held Monday
morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home
and half an hour later at the Ascen-
tion church. The Rev. J. F. Kelly
will officiate and burial will be in Mt.
Olivet.
