City of Niagara Falls, on the 11th day
of September, 1968.

In the Matter of the Application
for the change of Name of DENNIS
ALLEN SCHMIDLI, an Infant, by
AUDREY JANE BAUER, his mother
and guardian.
On reading and filing the petition
of AUDREY JANE BAUER, verified
September 11. 1968, praying for a
change of name of the above named
infant. DENNIS ALLEN SCHMIDLI,
it being requested that he be permit
ted to assume the neme of DENNIS
ALLEN BAUER, in the place and
stead of hit present name and sufficient
cause having been shown, notice
of this application to the father of
said Infant is hereby dispensed with,
and the court being satisfied that the
sald petition It true and it appearing
from the said petition and the court
being satisfied that there is no reasonable
objection to the change of name
proposed and it further duly appearing
that the said infant was born on
March 2, 1953, at Niagara Falls. New
York and that certlficate of bis birth
was issued by the Department of
Health of the City of Niagara Falls,
New York, and it further duly ap-
pearlng that the Interests of the said
infant will be substantially promoted
by the change: .
NOW. on motion of ORR, BRYDOES
& ORR. attorneys for the said petitioner.
It is
ORDERED, that the said DENNIS
ALLEN SCHMIDLI. bom on March
2, 1953, at Niagara Falls, New York
with a birth certificate Issued by the
Department of Health of the City of
Niagara Falls, New York, be and he
hereby is auhorlted to assume the
name of DENNIS ALLEN BAUER in
Place and stead of his present name
upon complying with the provisions
of Article 6 of the Civil Rights Law
and of this order, namely.
That thls order be entered and the
sald petttlon upon which it was granted
be filed within ten days from the
date hereof in the office of the clerk
of the County of Niagara: that within
twenty days from the date of enry
hereof, a copy of this order shall be
published in the Niagara Falls Gazette,
a newspaper published in, the
County of Niagara, New York: and
that, within forty days of the making
of this order, proof of such publication
by affidavit shall be filed with,
the clerk of the County ot Niagara.
That, followlng the due filing of
the said petition and entry of said
order as hereinbefore directed, the
publication of such order and the fil-
ing of proof of publication thereof,
and, on and after the 2lst day ot
October, 1968," the said infant shall
be known as and by the name of
DENNIS ALLEN BAUER, which he
is hereby authorized to assume and .
by no other name; and it is further
ORDERED, that a certtiled copy of
this order shall not be issued until
proof of compliance with the above
provisions has been duly filed with
the clerk of this court.

NIAGARA FALLS -
Dennis A. Bauer, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 2, 1953, the son of Audrey (Adams) Bauer and the late Roger Bauer.
Mr. Bauer graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was employed with Modern and later as a car hauler with Leaseway for 19 years. Mr. Bauer enjoyed spending time with his family, playing his guitar, singing and playing in several bands.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Terri E. (Andalora) Bauer; four sons, Dennis A. (Fanessa) Bauer of Pendleton, Christopher J. (Jamie) Bauer, Ryan T. (Noelle DelZoppo) Bauer and Robb N. (Tina Fiorentini) Bauer, all of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren, Hailey, Christopher, Trinidy, Gabby, Mason and Robert; a brother, Robert F. (Carol) Bauer; a sister, Deborah J. (Ronald Beasock) Bauer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-8:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM, with the Rev. Ronald E. Maines officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
