Mrs, Elizabeth Wenske, 81, of
248 Young street, died Saturday
morning in the DeGraff Memorial
hospital after a week's illness.
Born in Austria Hungary, she had
resided in Tonawanda the past 40
years. She was the wife of the
late Frank Wenske, who died five
months ago. She was a member of
the St. Francis church and the Altar
society of the church. Surviv-
ing are two daughters, Mrs. Ed-
ward Balthaser of Buffalo and
Mrs. Henry Frech, Jr., of Tonawanda;
two sons, Casper of Chicago
and Pvt. Frank Wenske of
Fort Macon, N. C; four grandchildren,
four sisters, Mrs. Martin
Zipp, Mrs. Fred Keller, Mrs. Wendel
Zitzka and Mrs. Michael Peterman,
and two brothers, John
and Anthony Baumgartner, all of
Tonawanda. Rites will be held tomorrow
morning at 9:80 from the
home of Mrs. Keller, 54 Simson
street and at 10 o'clock from the
St. Francis church. The Rt. Rev.
Msgr. John a Weismantel will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt.
Olivet.
