Miss Barbara Zitzka, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Zitzka,
of 13 Glenwood street, became the
bride of James E. Butler son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Butler at a
pretty wedding in the St. Francis
church, Saturday morning, Oct 23.

The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore H
white satin gown fashioned princess
style with a finger tip veil
trimmed of rose buds, chrysanthemums
and maiden hair ferns.
Miss Anna Zitzka sister of the
bride, was maid of honor wearing
a pink chiffon gown with a silver
halo, and slippers to match. She
carried a bouquet of pink rose
buds, small pompons and maiden
hair fern.
Mr. Wendell Zitzka, Jr., brother
of the bride, attended Mr. Butler
as best man.
Mrs. Zitzka, the bride's mother,
wore navy blue sheer crepe. Mrs.
Butler mother of the groom wore
green crepe. Each wore a corsage
of rose buds and yellow
pompoms.
Following the ceremony a wedding
breakfast was given at the
home of the bride's parents. The
table was centered with a four
tiered wedding cake adorned with
a miniature bride and groom.
Will Reside on Simson St.
Mr. and Mrs. Butler left for a
short wedding trip to the Adirondack
mountains and Tupper Lake.
Upon their return they will be at
home at 54 Simson street, Tonawanda.
Among the pre-nuptial parties
in honor of the bride, were a one
gift shower given by Mrs. Joseph
Mayer, Jr., a variety shower by
Mrs. Zitzka, a kitchen-bathroom
shower by Mrs. Earl Lovegrove
and Mrs. Joseph Konndker, Jr., a
bedroom shower by Miss Anna
Zitzka and a variety shower by
Mrs. John Butler.
