  Niagara Gazette - 5/15/1965 Mrs. Carmella Maria Bax 75, of 1625 Hyde Park Blvd. died Friday'(May 14, 1965) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness. She was born In Agnone, Italy, Sept. 19, 1889 and came to this city in 1914. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmol Church. Her husband, Alfred Bax, died in 1963. Survivors include three sons, Dr. A. L. Bax of Lewis- ton, Joseph Bax of this city, and Massimo Bax of Ransom- ville; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Alice) Rice and Miss Helen Bax, both of this city, and Mrs. John (Emilia) Seyler, of the Town of Niagara; two sisters, Mrs. Romeo (Lena) Bax, of this city and Mrs. Elena Barthalamco of Italy; and 30 grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 8:45 Am. at the M. J. Coluccl Funeral Chapel and at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The Mothers' Club of Bish. op Duffy School and the Mothers Club of Sacred Heart Church will meet to recite the Rosary Sunday at 8:30 p.m. At the funeral home. Friends may call from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday And Sunday.
