AMSTERDAM-John H,
60, of RD 1, Amsterdam, a structural
engineer and vice-president
of several Albany engineering and
construction firms died at 11:10
p.m. Monday in Amsterdam Memorial
Hospital.

MR. FORD was vice-president
and director of the Standard Engineering
Corp., the Standard
Bridge Corp., and S. & P. Inc., all
of Albany.
He was born at Salem, West
Virginia, and was a member of
the Central Christian Church of
Clarksburg, W. Pa. He attended
the Cranesville Reformed Church
and was a member of its Men's
Fellowship. He was also a member
of the Elks lodge of Grand
Rapids, Mich.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Dorothy Bayliss; one son, Dr.
John H. Ford Jr., senior resident
physician at Jackson Memorial
Hospital, Miami, Fla.; his mother,
Mrs. Ina H. Ford, West Union,
W. ya.; two granddaughters, also
several brothers, sisters, nieces
and nephews in West Virginia.
Services will be today at 7:30
p.m. at the funeral house of Johnson-
Lindsay, Rev. Niles M. Poff
officiating. Burial will be in
Clarksburg, W. Va.
