Funeral services will be held at
2 p.m. tomorrow at the Gaul Funeral
Home, 263 East Ave., for
Walter J. Beakman, 76, of 104
Caledonia St, who died Saturday
(Jury 27, 1963) in Mount View
Hospital after a long illness.
The Rev. Jamas F. Burdick of
the Rapids United Evangelical
Bretheren Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
A native of Lockport, where he
was born July 27. 1887, Mr. Beak
man was employed in the trans-
portation department of Emil Von
Dungen Inc., for 18 years. He for-
merly worked for the old Hovey
Coal Co. in Locport. Mr. Beak-
man was a member of the Inter-
national Association of Machin-
ists.
Surviving are his widow, the
former M. Rozelle Leary; a son,
Paul M. Beakman of Loekport;
two sisters, Mrs. . B a r b a ra
Dawson and Mrs. Emma Deneau,
both of Loekport; three
brothers, Howard M. and Harold
A. Beakman, both of Loekport,
and William L. Beakman of Vernon,
N. Y.
