BEAKMAN-The funeral of Herbert
G. Beakman was held Friday afternoon
at 2:30 at his late home
269 Washburn at. Reverend Herbert
E Slegner officated. The bearers
were John Hopkins, Alfred
Lllley, Olfford Diets, Clarke Dunkelberger.
Louis Sherman and Loren
Muck. Interment was in Glenwood
Cemetery.

Ill for the past three weeks. Her
bert G. Beakman. 68, a carpenter
employed on the State Barge
Canal here, died Tuesday evening
In Buffalo General Hospital.
Mr. Beakman was born In the
Town of Lockport Feb. 24, 1889,
son of the late William -and Ida
Beakman, and attended the Cobblestone
School in the A k r on
Road.
For a number of yeara he operated
a farm. L a t e r he was em
ployed for 33 years by Harrison
Radiator Division of General Motors.
He had been a carpenter
on the Barge Canal here for the
past seven years. He was a charter
member of Loekport Grange
Surviving are his wife. O r a e e
Altro Beakman; two sons. Dr. L.
M. Beakman and Kenneth M Beakman.
both of L o e k p o r t ; four
grandchildren; t h r e e daughters.
Mrs. Florence Sisier, Mrs. Barbara
D a w s o n and Mrs. Leo De-
Neau, and four brothers, Walter,
Howard. Harold and W i l l i am
Beakman.
Services will be held Friday at
3:30 at the Family Home. 259
Washburn St., the Rev. Herbert
L. Siegner of St. Peter's Evangelical
Church officiating. Burial will
be in Glen wood Cemetery.
