J. Leo DeNeau, 73, of 237
Waterman St., Lockport. a
r e t i r e d steelworker, died
W e d n e s d a y at DeGraff
M e m o r i a l Hospital, North
Tonawanda, after a one - month
illness.
He was born Oct. 11, 1898,
in Lockport, the son of Casimer
and Mary (Gorman) DeNeau.
Before retiring in 1965, Mr.
DeNeau had been employed as
a shearman for 45 years at
Simonds Steel Division, Murray
- Wallace Corp.
He was a member of St.
Peter's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Emma B. DeNeau and three
sisters, Mrs. James (Helen)
McGarety of Santa Monica,
Calif., Mrs. Mae J. Gaughan of
Woodland Hills, Calif., and Mrs.
Casper (Ann) Fenner of Ithaca.
Beginning tomorrow, friends
may caH from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. at the Joseph M.
Kennedy Funeral Home Inc.,
122 Walnut St., where the
funeral will be held Monday at
10:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Cold Spring
Cemetery.
The family would appreciate
memorials to the St. Peter's
United Church of Christ
Memorial Fund.
