  Lockport NY Union Sun Journal - 4/24/1917 Charles Pless, aged 82 years, a former resident of Wolcottaburg, died this morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Beakman, No. 76 Erie Street, from ailments due to his advanced age. The deceased had been residing In Lockport since the death of his wife several years ago. His surviving family includes two daughter, Mrs. Beakman and Mrs. William Claude of the Rapids ;also six sons. John of Cambria, William, Herman and Gustave of Wolcottsburg, and Ernest of Buffalo, besides sixteen grand children and one great grandchild.
