  Niagara Gazette - 3/27/1959 A resident of this city for 43 years, Philip Bechtel. 74. of 7313 Buffalo Ave., died suddenly at his r e s i d e n c e on Thursday (Mar. 26, 1959). Born in the Town of Lewis- ton, Mr. Bechtel was employed for 32 years as a machinist foreman at the Acheson Graph- ite, a division of National Car- bon Co. He was a member of the 25-Year-Club and retired in 1949. Survivors include two sons, Philip S. Bechtel, this city, and Charles s. Bechtel, Buffalo; one daughter, Mrs. Adrian Banks, this city; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, this city, and Mrs. Halvin Alcorn and Mrs. Frederick Bond, both of the Town of Niagara; two brothers, Mr. Charles Betchel, Town of Niagara, and Jacob Bechtel, Sanborn, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer of- ficiating. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
