Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Poulton, 19
years old, wife of Howard H. Poulton
and. a bride of only two months, died
Saturday night In the York Township
hospital, Toronto, Ont., following an
operation. Funeral services will be
held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30
o'clock in the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Lars Jenson, 1046 North
Military road, with the ReV. Arthur H.
Schmoyer, of the ZIon Lutheran
Evangelical "church, officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Announcement of Mrs. Poulton's
death has caused sincere sorrow
among a wide circle of friends and
acquaintances in this city. The operation
which she underwent in the
Toronto hospital was to relieve a condition
resulting from a hip Injury
which she suffered in a fall two years
ago. Relatives said today that the
operation was not considered a serious
one at first but hemorrhages resulted
causing the young matron's death.
Born in Norway, Mrs. Poulton was
brought to this country by her parents
when she was only six* months old.
She has been a resident of this city
since that time. She was educated In
Niagara Falls schools and a business
college and before her marriage was
employed by the Carborundum company.
Besides her husband and parents
Mrs. Poulton is survived by a
brother, Laurence, of this city.
