- David Stitt, of North Tonawanda, September 1, 2021, unexpectedly. David was born in North Tonawanda to the late Robert William Stitt and Donna Gayle Stitt (Maier). He was a loving, dependable, and kind man who never let anything go unfinished. As a chef, David enjoyed being in the kitchen and cooking for people. He loved horses and was passionate about American Field Service, a student exchange program in which he volunteered his time for the past fifteen years. David went through trying times with his health but always persevered. He was a strong willed and resilient man. He was a caring and devoted friend. Most importantly, David adored his wife and children, and did his best to be present and active in their lives.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Susan M. Stitt (Englander), and his children Alexa (German) Stitt, and Ryan (Kira) Stitt. Dear brother to John (Barbara) Stitt and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a special Opa to Audrey, Alex, and Maddie and will also be missed by his canine companions, Zeama, Mocha, and Zig-Zag.
