MIDDLEPORT - A lifelong
resident of the Town of Royalton,
Mrs. Amanda Duchow, 64, wife
of William F. Duchow, died this
morning (April 3, 1963) at her
home on Lewiston Road.
She was born June 12, 1896 in
the Town of Royalton, the daughter
of William and Christine Hoffmeister.
She was a member of St
Michaels Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville
Besides her husband, she is survived
by a son, Elwood Duchow
of Middleport; two granddaughters,
Ruth and Berniece Duchow;
a sister, Mrs. Anna Schilling of
Middleport and several nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
Heath Funeral Home Inc., State
Street, Middleport, where funeral
services will be held Friday at 2
p.m. The Rev. Hilbert Huth of St.
Michaels Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Royalton Mountain
Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Duchow was born June
12, 1898 in the Town of Royal-
ton, the daughter of William
and Christine Hoffmeister
Smith. She was a member of
St. Michael's Lutheran
Church, Wolcottsville.
She is survived by her hus-
band, William F. Duchow; one
son, Elwood Duchow, of Mid-
dleport; one sister, Mrs. Anna
Schilling, of Middleport and
two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the
Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home, Friday, at 2 p.m. Rev.
Hilbert Huth, pastor of St.
Michael's Lutheran Church,
will officiate. Buriall will be
in Royalton Ridge Cemetery,
in Royalton Mountain Ridge
Cemetery.

neral home from 2 to 4 and
