SWISHER - Joseph L. Age 98, of North Tonawanda, November 3, 2012 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, husband of the late Doris (nee Trost) Swisher; father of Victoria (Michael) Noworyta, Joel (Melanie) Swisher, Paul (Candy) Swisher and the late Doreen Radice; father-in-law of Daniel Radice; grandfather of Cody, Jillian and Joseph; brother of Mary Miller and the late Russell, Kenneth and Bernard Swisher and was the very dear friend of the late Marian Slater. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, November 8, from 10-11 AM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 Am Thursday following the visitation. A private interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Joseph was an U.S. Army veteran serving during WWII.
