George "Paul" Barger

BUFFALO — George "Paul" Barger passed away January 6, 2013 in the VA Hospital of Buffalo. Born March 22, 1949, in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of Calvin and Betty (Salsgiver) Barger. Paul served in the US Marine Corps from 1968 to 1974 during Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for Frontier Chemical, Niagara Falls, NY, for 20 years. Paul enjoyed working on genealogy and word searches.
Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet (Bedford) Barger of North Tonawanda; father of Kathy Stevens of Wrights Corners and Tina Kasperek of North Tonawanda; grandfather of Alissa, Frederick Stevens and Brendan, Collin Kasperek; brother of Calvin E. (Nancy) Barger, Jr. of Lockport, Thomas (Sally) Barger of Winburne, PA, Barbara Barger of Wilson, Dorothy Balcom, Sharon (Gary) Hassell, both of Dickson, TN, uanita Livergood of Pegram, TN, Philip (Patti) Barger of Newfane, and Michael (Carol) Barger of Lockport; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, January 9th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10th, at 12 Noon. Interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Donations to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated.
