Mrs. Margaret Entwistle Beha,
72. wife of Raymond G. Beha,
West Leyden, died last Friday
in Lewis County General Hospi
tat Lowville. where she had
been a patient for a week.
She had been in ill health for
some time
Funeral was held Monday at
9 15 a.m. at Trainor Funeral
Home, Boonville, and at 10 am
at St Mary's Church, West Ley
den, where a requiem high Mass
was celebrated by the Rev
James Lamitie, pastor Burial
was in St Mary's Cemetery.
Gerald Service, a seminarian,
was master of ceremonies.
Pallbearers were Raymond St.
John. Charles Beha, Robert
Aloan, Howard Wilbert, Harold
Kessler. and Richard Amann
She was born in Utica July
24. 1896. daughter of Thomas
and Margaret Beha Entwistle,
and was graduated from I'tica
Free Academy and St. lake's
Memorial Hospital School of
Nursing in 1917.
Siie was supervisor of nursing
at that hospital and also
Herkimer General Hospital for
several years. She retired as an
Oneida County public health
nurse in 1948.
On April 27, 1948, she and Mr.
Beha were married in Utica.
She was a member of St.
Mary's Chorch. and its Albar-
Rosary Society. She also was
a member of SL Luke's Nursing
School Alumnae Association.
besides her husband, she
leaves three step-daughters,
Miss Helen Beha of Huntington;
Mrs. Raymond (Katherine) St.
John, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and
Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Alsen of
Syracuse; two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Fairbrother and Mrs. Gwilym
(Gertrude) Rowlands, both of
Utica; two brothers, Thomas
Entwistle of Utica, and George
Entwistle of Frankfort.
