Port Leyden, June 24.-The marriage
of Miss Luella Agnes Mullaney,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Mullaney, and James A. Beha,
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beha of
West Leyden, took place with a
nuptial mass at St. Martin's Church
this morning at 7:30 o'clock. The
ceremony was performed by the
Rev. C. P. Sloan, acting pastor of
St. Martin's Church, the double
ring service being used. Miss
Kathryn Mullaney, sister of
the bride, was bridesmaid, and Joseph
F. Donovan of Buffalo was
best man.
Ushers were Kenneth A. Mullaney,
brother of the bride, and
Leo Northam, cousin of the bride.
Wedding marches were played by
Miss Anna Carroll, and "At Dawning"
was sung by Frances E.
Buck of Utica, and "O Salutaris"
at the offertory by Miss Anna
Carroll.
The bride wore a period gown of
shell pink point d'esprit. Her picture
hat was hand-made of horsehair
braid and faced with shadow
lace. She wore shell pink moire
slippers and lace mitts. Her necklace
was of pearls, a gift of the
bridegroom. She carried an arm
bouquet of bridal roses and liliesof-
the-valley.
The bridesmaid was charming
in a ruffled nlle green chiffon. She
wore a transparent nile green
picture hat with mitts and slippers
to match. Her necklace was of
crystal, a gift of the bride. She carried
yellow roses and blue delphiniums.
The best man was presented
with silver and black onyx rosary
and the ushers with ostrich leather
bill folds. The wedding breakfast
was served to the bridal party
at Hotel Parquet, Constableville.
Mr. and Mrs. Beha left for a
motor trip to New York, Boston,
and Canada. For her traveling ensemble,
Mrs. Beha wore a skipperblue
crepe suit with hat and gloves
to match. After the, wedding trip
Mr. and Mrs. Beha will be at home
at Indian Lake, New York.
Mrs. Beha attended Port Leyden
High School and for the past four
years has been employed in office
of Doyle Hardware Co., Utica. Mr.
Beha is a graduate of Boonville
Training Class and St Lawrence
University having received his B.
S. and M. S. degrees. He is a member
of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon
fraternity. He is at present principal
of the Indian Lake High
School.
Among those giving pre-nuptial
showers were Mrs. Frank Doyle,
Mrs. John Wall, Francis Bark all
of Utica. Mrs. Richard Wynne of
Constableville, Mrs. Clayton Fraser
and the Misses Anna and Monlen
Carroll of Port Leyden.
