Donald A. Beha, 80, of
Utica, formerly of Waterville,
died Tuesday, Oct. 5,
1999, in Faxton Hospital,
Utica.
He was born April 5, 1919,
in Ava, son of Ambrose and
Emma Seiter Beha and was a
1938 graduate of Waterville
Central School. He was a
major in the Marine Corps,
serving in World War II and
the Korean Conflict. On Feb.
1, 1947, he married Jean A.
Kelly in Blessed Sacrament
Church, Utica. He retired
from Sears Roebuck and
Company in 1980 after 30
years of employment.
Besides his wife he leaves
two daughters, Mrs. Frank
(Judy) Santo of Saugus,
' Mass., and Mrs. Shawn
(Debra) Sullivan of Billerica,
Mass,; three sons, Michael
Beha of New Hartford, Timothy
Beha of Whitesboro and
Patrick Beha of Washington,
N. J.; three sisters, Bertha
Rowley of Waterville, Mrs.
Walter (Dorothy) Dunn of
Oneida and Mrs. Dorothy
Beha of Ontario; a brother,
Joseph Beha of Waterville;
six grandchildren, Kelly,
Heather, Jessica, Christine,
Kaitlyn and Zachary; nieces,
and nephews. He was predeceased
by two sisters, Cecilia
Roldon and Mary Cravotta
and a brother, John Beha.
The funeral was Thursday
from the Heintz Funeral
Home, 1517 Whitesboro
Street, Utica, and from
Blessed Sacrament Church
where a Mass of Christian
Burial was celebrated. Burial
was in Mount Olivet Cemetery,
Whitesboro.
