PORT LEYDEN - Kenneth
A. Mullaney, 69, of E. North
St., died Tuesday, May 10 at
Lewis County General
Hospital, Lowville, where he
had been a patient for one
week.
Prior to retiring in 1970, Mr.
Mullaney also was employed
in the custodial department
J S a bus driver for the
Lewis County Board of Cooperative
Educational Services
(BOCES) in Glenfield.
He was born in Port Leyden
on Dec. 9, 1907, son of John
and Mary Mullaney.
He attended local schools
and was self-employed brick
mason for many years.
Mr. Mullaney married
Frances Seiter in 1937. She
died in 1945. On Oct. 9, 1948
he married Vella Power
Richrdson in st. John the
Baptist Church, Syracuse.
He formerly lived in Boon-
ville and came to Port Leyden
in 1953.
He was a member of the
Boonville Lodge Club, the
Miller Brook Fish and Game
Club and St. Martin's Church
of Port Leyden and was a
formerl president of the
Boonville Conservationists
and Fire Department.
Survivors are his wife, three
sisters, Mrs. James (Louella)
Beha and Miss Gertrude Mul-
laney, both of Mohawk, and
Mrs. Winifred Wynn of Con-
stableville and a brother,
William Mullaney of Lyons
Falls.
The funeral was at 9:30 a.m.
Friday, May 13 at the Field
Funeral Home and at 10 in St.
Martin's Church. Burial was
in Boonville Cemetery.
